Physical Description : Th'rek is roughly six feet in height with broad shoulders and a barrel chest. He has thick, dark brown hair, brown eyes and a powerful jaw.

Personality : Though not an overly large man, Th'rek often projects the image of being larger than he is. This is due to a quiet confidence he exudes regarding his own competence to handle anything that comes his way. He is not an overly emotional or talkative man, though he is almost always polite and can be engaging and friendly when he so chooses. Not given to extremes of emotion, he is extremely fair in his dealings with others. Stolid and stable are the two adjectives which best describe him.

Life Story : Born at the Telgar Smithcrafthall, Th'rek has journeyed through much of Pern with his family during his father's years as a journeyman. As a child he lived at Lemos, on the Neratian tip, in Keroon, and in the borderlands between Tillek and Fort, before his father returned to Telgar to attain Masterhood.

Despite his many travels, Th'rek's homelife was stable. Both father and mother provided a safe, comfortable and encouraging environment for their three children, Tharek, his younger brother Kellent and his sister Gemmira. The exposure to so many different regions, as well as their father's open-minded nature, fostered an awareness and acceptance of different people in all three children. It appeared that Tharek and his brother would both follow in their father's footsteps, when Tharek was Searched at the age of twenty-one. Already a journeyman, he had been sent to Fort Hold and was barely there a month before he found himself standing on the sands of Fort.

It was there that he not only Impressed his brown Morgeth, but would later meet his future spouse, Abrilla. The daughter of a dragonrider herself, she has always been aware and acceptant of the vicissitudes of relationships in the Weyr. As strong willed as Th'rek, but with a more compassionate and playful nature, she provides a good complement to her mate.

The life of a dragonrider provides Th'rek with plenty of challenge and excitement for both his physical and mental needs, but his early wandering existence has left its mark and he has a taste for travelling and exploration. He always wanted to see the Southern Continent and so when the opportunity arose, with Abrilla's consent, he transferred to Thread's End. That was in Turn 35, month 9. Taking a position in Upper Flight Left Fore, it was only a short period of time before his natural talents were noticed by others and he has recently been made Wingsecond of Center Flight Left Flank. He appreciates the promotion, but has some reservations about the Wingleader.

Dragon's Description : Morgeth is a slightly more playful version of his rider. Though generally serious and unflappable, he does at times have a streak of mischief with which he likes to tease his rider. He is very fond of Abrilla and will often side with her when she has disagrements with Th'rek.

Dragon's Personality : Morgeth is a dark chocolate brown. He is of medium length, being around thirty-two meters long.
