Physical Description : Trahana is slightly taller than average, darkly tanned where the sun strikes her skin; she has brown hair that tends to fall into waves when damp and is kept cut fairly short. Her eyes are dark brown and usually have a mischievous scheme glinting somewhere in their depths. Her build is lean, though with adequate muscle. On sunny days she wears a wide-brimmed hat that once was white; she tends toward knee-high boots, dark cotton trous and light, sleeveless tunics in warm weather. She wears a belt knife and does have a small crossbow tucked away in the wagon; she uses a short wood-and-bone recurved bow which is handy for hunting or defense.

Personality : Trahana enjoys her life and is very content with her partner, who seems as often as not an extention of herself. She loves nothing better than hatching a good scheme in which she can come out financially to the good, even though the methods may not always stand careful scrutiny. She is easy going in appearance--she can sometimes be mistaken as careless, but the deception is often useful in her schemes. She is an excellent herbalist; she has used her itchy foot to expand her knowledge of plants and their applications as she has roamed across the southern hemisphere. She has a bit of knowledge of beastcrafting and of healing, but has had no formal training in any craft. The wagon is full of concoctions, some of powder and some of liquid, which she and her partner Carrethe peddle at holds they pass or at gathers they choose to attend.

Life Story : Born in the north, Trahana spent her first two decades there. She came south at age 22 along with her brother, who made himself a small hold south of and beholden to Southern Hold. She quickly found she didn't get along with her brother's new bride, and shortly after she set out with a trader, finding it to ease her itchy foot as well as find herself a place where she seemed to belong. Trahana traveled a few turns with the trader, learning about herbs and simple medicines which they traded along with other basic goods. The trader was killed in an accident, but Trahana kept the small wagon and continued on her own. Eleven turns ago she met a young woman by the name of Carrethe at Southern Hold during a gather. They combined their enterprises, Carrethe making and selling dyes and doing some commision dying as well. As turns passed they moved gradually eastward. Now, ten turns into a committed relationship, they have recently crossed the Black Rock River and have temporarily set up housekeeping in a small previously-abandoned cot south of the smithcraft area at Sonnette's Dawn Hold. Time will tell if they settle permanently or continue their traveling.
