Physical Description : Vilaira has dark auburn hair that never cooperates, even with her best efforts. Her blue eyes are bright with intelligence as well as curiosity. She has the typical lean dragonrider build, though she is shorter than most, only 5'3". She has a scar on her right cheek that extends down her jawline, ending almost parallel to the corner of her lips.

Despite having the scar, she is still beautiful, but she blends into a crowd very well. Her friends know that she blends in because she can walk, talk, and act like the majority of people if she chooses to. However, it's mostly because she's shorter than the other people.

She has a soft, melodic soprano when she is in a good mood. If she is anything but happy, her voice gets sharper and gains a slightly lower pitch.

Personality : Vilaira is typically very nice to be around. Her intelligence flows through her personality, allowing her to avoid confrontations that will make her angry or get her into trouble.

She enjoys teasing her friends and simple 'hanging out'. Her generally reasonable personality draws people to her. However, if her dragon is close to mating, she can become a spitfire at one emphasized statement.

Life Story : Vilaira was born in High Reaches Weyr to a dragonhealer and a smith, but grew up in Thread's End Weyr starting in the fifteenth Turn in the Pass, after her parents decided to transfer.

She helped her mother, Vinra, with her healer duties, and also with raising her younger two sisters when she was old enough. When she turned 16, her parents told her that they were going to leave their busy weyr life to create their own hold, as they giving up their crafts. At first, she was going to go with them, but her elder brother, several Turns a dragonrider, asked her to stay at the Weyr with him and his weyrmate. She accepted gladly, but her younger sisters went with their parents.

Vilaira was Searched when she was 18 Turns old, but failed to Impress. She wasn't asked to stand again until a Turn later, and this time she Impressed a green named Dcaneth.

She and Dcaneth passed their weyrling classes, graduating into the Head Wing. A Turn later, during a typical Fall, she didn't see a clump above her, and got scored along her cheek before Dcaneth ducked /between/. She knew it was only a minor score, but for a while afterwards, she berated herself for not paying better attention. Since then, however, she has only been scored during the worst of the Falls.

Dragon's Personality: Dcaneth is a very sociable dragon, liking to talk to her rider, or other dragons if her rider is occupied. If she has nothing to do, she'll either go for a swim with other dragons, or sleep in the sun. She has a deep voice, which always has a loving tone for her rider and her rider's family.

Physical Description of Dragon: Dcaneth is a very light green, slightly darker along her spine and underbelly. She is longer than the average green, but not significantly. She has a thick scar on her tail from a bad scoring in one of the bad Falls, but it isn't bad enough to affect the way she flies, so it is seldom noticed.
