Physical Description : X'ter is a man of middle height, standing just a hair under six feet two inches tall. His bright ice blue eyes seem to pierce through a person's mind when he settles his gaze on them. His brown hair is worn tied back as it reaches just below his shoulders with a bit of curliness in it. He proudly wears a scar that runs across his left cheek, from the ear to the corner of his mouth. None know what it is from except him himself.

Personality : X'ter is a quiet man, though highly inquisitive about things he does not know. At times, when he is not out enjoying flying with his dragon Quasarith, he can be found in the bowl, watching other members of the Weyr. He prides himself on being able to learn just by watching. When he gets angry, he draws into himself even more, becoming even quieter so that not many know when he is angry. He does have a small sense of humor, but only when he has grown close to a friend. He makes few friends but those he makes are as close to him as anyone can be to another.

Life Story : X'ter was born in Southern Weyr. Even growing up he was inquisitive about all makes and walks of life. He could be found under the feet of a healer, or perhaps in the company of a harper, and sometimes, even watching dragonriders in the bowl. As he grew up, he continued to study, though his father and mother both being dragonriders themselves wanted him to at least try to impress a dragon. When he was 15, he impressed Quasarith the brown dragon. This ended his studying of other crafts and started his training as a dragonrider. During the next turn, he was trained as a weyrling and dragonrider. During this time, he made a few enemies in Southern Weyr. It was in a morning flight with one of these enemies that he had made when he was 20 that started him getting transferred to the Irene Island Weyr. Many people say this is when he and his dragon obtained the scars, and he drew into himself and became even more quiet than he was before. In the two years since he has transferred to Irene Island Weyr he has settled in and made many friends.

He has found a home and a family while at IIW. Journeywoman Harper Shaow has agreed to be his weyrmate. They are quite happy in their weyr and spending time together in and around the surround areas of IIW. They are expecting their first child and it has made life hectic for both of them but it is an excitement both of them share that they look forward to their childs birth.

Dragon's Description : Quasarith is of a medium size measuring in length 32 meters with a 54 meter wingspan. Running along the left side of his body where the wing connects there is a long scar. There are rumors that this scar occurred at the same time as his rider got the one that marks X'ter's face.

Dragon's Personality : Quasarith is almost as quiet as his rider. Both of them enjoy the peace that quiet brings. Quasarith can be found sitting in the bowl with his rider when they are not in flight. Though not quite as much a loner as his rider, he does enjoy time spent alone in meditation and thought. While in flight against the thread, his calm thoughtful manner is exposed. He will take only calculated risks. Yet it has never been said that a thread has sneaked past him or his rider.
