Physical Description : Tightly curled brown hair and green eyes frame Y'lysand's delicate face. He has a slim almost delicate appearance and a shy secretive smile.

Personality : Y'lysand is shy and quiet. He likes to sit in the corner and watch the world go on around him. He's not much of a joiner and feels uneasy in crowds.

Life Story : Y'lysand's father was a smith, his mother died in childbirth when he was five. His father had no time for such an unmanly son and left his raising to the ladies of the hold, who fussed over his girlish looks. Nothing he tried to do seemed to reconcil his father to the fact his only son in a bevy of six children was not a burly male. It was a relief to both of them when Y'lysand was searched. Only to disappoint his father again when Y'lysand impressed a green. Relations have been strained between them and slowly Y'lysand is growing further and further away from his family. Eventually he'll break contact all together and be happier for it. Realizing he can never live up to his father's expectations.

Dragon's Personality : Zureth is Y'lysand's own personal cheering section. She thinks anything her rider does is wonderful and amazing. Supportive and friendly, she is always there to take his mind off things with the latest Weyr gossip. Even if she doesn't always understand all of it or why some of it embarrasses Y'lysand so badly.
